Job Description

Remote Publishing Content Technician – Entry-Level, No Experience Needed

Job Title: Remote Publishing Content Technician

Job Type: Remote | Royalties-Based | Self-Paced

Location: Global – Work From Anywhere

Education Required: None

Experience Required: None

Compensation: Royalties-based: $50–$200+ per book/month, scalable with output

Position Overview

We’re hiring beginner-level candidates for a fully remote position as a Remote Publishing Content Technician . In this role, you will manage the end-to-end creation and publishing of nonfiction Kindle books using AI writing tools, formatting templates, and royalty-generating publishing systems. No writing, editing, or previous publishing experience is needed.

This is not a freelance writing job, nor is it traditional employment. You are building digital products — Kindle books — that are published under your name or pen name and earn royalties monthly through Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) platform. You’ll be trained to follow a structured, proven process that is beginner-friendly and fully flexible.

Core Responsibilities

You will work through a five-phase process that includes content development, book formatting, publishing, and scaling.

Phase 1: Nonfiction Niche & Keyword Research

You’ll begin every project by identifying profitable nonfiction topics that readers are actively searching for.

You’ll be trained to:

Analyze Amazon’s Best Seller Rank (BSR)

Use keyword research spreadsheets to validate niche demand

Choose high-potential topics like:

Mindfulness and self-reflection

Productivity systems

Personal finance basics

Journaling prompts

Remote work tips

Research tools and templates are provided for each project.

Phase 2: Generate Book Content with AI Tools

You won’t be writing books from scratch. You’ll use AI writing assistants like ChatGPT to generate chapter-based content.

Tasks include:

Inputting prewritten prompts into the AI platform

Organizing output into logical chapters and sections

Editing for clarity, readability, and tone

Inserting summaries, transitions, and optional resource sections

This allows you to complete high-quality books quickly, without being a professional writer.

Phase 3: Format the Manuscript for Kindle

Once content is finalized, you’ll format your manuscript using Kindle-compliant templates designed for Google Docs or Microsoft Word.

Formatting steps include:

Applying headings and subheadings

Adding front matter, disclaimers, and author notes

Creating a clickable Table of Contents

Running quality checks using Amazon’s preview tool

You’ll follow a complete checklist to ensure professional presentation.

Phase 4: Create and Optimize Amazon Listings

Once your book is formatted, you’ll publish it through Kindle Direct Publishing with an optimized Amazon listing.

Tasks include:

Writing an SEO-friendly title and subtitle

Using swipe files to create product descriptions

Choosing backend keywords and categories

Uploading your manuscript and cover

Setting pricing, royalties, and availability

No copywriting or marketing skills are needed — templates handle it for you.

Phase 5: Track Performance and Grow Your Portfolio

After launch, you’ll monitor your book’s performance and repeat the process to scale your royalties over time.

Tasks include:

Reviewing Kindle Unlimited read data and royalty reports

Logging sales data in your royalty tracker

Planning future titles using your niche selection tools

Publishing additional books on a monthly or bi-weekly schedule

Each new book becomes a permanent asset that adds to your income.

Included Resources

Everything you need is provided:

Keyword & niche research dashboards

AI content generation prompt packs

Kindle formatting templates (Docs & Word)

Listing copywriting swipe files

Cover design guides using Canva

KDP upload walkthroughs and checklists

Royalty tracking spreadsheets and scaling plans

Step-by-step onboarding and training videos

No paid tools or software subscriptions required.

Who Should Apply

This opportunity is ideal for:

Beginners looking for their first remote income stream

Stay-at-home parents, students, and retirees

Freelancers looking to switch from client-based work

Side hustlers building digital assets

Anyone who can follow a system and stay consistent

Minimum Requirements

Laptop or desktop computer

Internet access

Familiarity with Word or Google Docs

5–10 hours per week

Ability to follow detailed instructions

No publishing knowledge or technical background is needed.

1 Book: $50–$200

5 Books: $300–$1,000

10+ Books: $2,000+

Every published book adds to your monthly income stream.
